A native macOS x86-64 translation layer for Windows games on Apple Silicon. Ferrum turns a game's Intel instructions into ARM64 as it runs, answers its Windows requests through Wine and hands its graphics to Metal — no Rosetta, no virtual machine, no Windows licence. There's no public build yet; it will ship inside Bourbon 26.

A lean ARM64 SteamOS-style gaming OS built on Fedora 44 for Apple Silicon virtual machines: it signs itself in and opens native ARM64 Steam in Game Mode, with FEX for x86 game code and Proton for Windows games. Today it's an experiment inside Bourbon 26, switched off by default — no download and no date yet.
